■モビルスーツの建造を追体験できる、セミモノコック構造をイメージした最新設計の内部フレーム。
■オリジナルデザインへの回帰を果たす関節構造は、可動軸の再解釈により「関節に見える部分がきちんと曲がる」新構造を採用。
■脚部は「白兵戦用MSガンダム」を再考証し、可動した際にも人間に近いアウトラインを描くよう、複合フレームによる関節を採用。
■接合部やパーツ裏など、外からは見えない部分にもディテールを彫刻。目立つ取り付け穴を排除し、デザインと一体化させた隙のない設計となっている。
■複雑なカラーの頭部は成形色による色分けで徹底再現。ツインアイ / メインカメラ / マガジンドラム / 頬のダクトなど細部に至るまでディテールを追加している。
■機構からの裏づけを反映させたパネルラインは、機能ブロックごとに分割。実際の分割ラインをイメージして設計している。
■最新解釈と原点回帰を融合させた外観デザインは、細かなディテールを追加するだけでなく、各パーツのエッジや曲面といった大本の造形にも配慮。本体のホワイトを2トーンの成形色で構成することで立体としての情報量（≒陰影）を存分に演出。
■コア・ファイターはコア・ブロックへの変形が可能。航空機形態のプロポーション再現はもちろん、コンパクトなコア・ブロック内に新開発の補助関節ギミックを内蔵し、ガンダムの自由なポージングの実現にも寄与。
■RGオリジナルのギミックとして、コクピットを覆う胸部装甲が上下に開閉する機構を採用。
